Services
Individual Therapy
Truce Counseling & Wellness provides therapy for individuals and welcomes clients from all backgrounds, identities, expressions, and spiritualities. Your first appointment will be used as an assessment session in which we will review your completed paperwork together, assess fit for one another, and begin to formulate an individualized treatment plan.
Truce Counseling & Wellness specializes in providing identity-affirming, trauma-informed care. We offer a safe space to process minority stress and navigate social, medical, or legal transitions at your own pace. We believe in the autonomy of humans to make their own informed decisions about their medical care. As such, we provide gender affirming letters, in alignment with WPATH Standards of Care, Version 8, to assist in accessing gender affirming medical care.
Couples Counseling
A space for partners to improve communication and resolve conflict. Provides the chance for couples to explore patterns and communication barriers with an unbiased third party. The therapist does not takes sides, but rather looks at the core issues that lead to disagreements and arguments within the relationship. Provides tools and skills to use outside of sessions to strengthen satisfaction and connection within the relationship.
